Today technician repaired side-by-side Fridge Frigidaire that had a common problem with the breakage of air damper control. As a result, the fridge is either not cooling or freezing over fresh food section. The Frigidaire fridge air control damper may not be working due to a faulty damper motor or control board. The damper motor is responsible for controlling the amount of cold air that enters the fridge, and if it malfunctions, the damper may not open or close correctly. Another possible reason behind the Frigidaire fridge air control damper not working could be a build-up of ice or debris within the damper assembly, which obstructs the flow of cold air.
