Walk-in freezer repair
Our company repaired the walk-in freezer. Technician replaced insulation of the return line, dryer filter and freon level indicator. We also recharged it with the freon, so commercial space can operate smoothly again.
A walk-in freezer may not hold the desired temperature if the evaporator coil is covered with ice build-up. This build-up hinders proper airflow, leading to an inefficient cooling effect.
Leaks in the door gasket or the presence of cracks on the door will allow warm air to enter the freezer, and thus the freezer cannot maintain the desired temperature.
Another potential cause of a walk-in freezer not holding its temperature is a malfunctioning compressor or a malfunctioning sensor, which will cause the system to work harder than necessary and as a result, draw more power and fail to maintain the desired temperature.
