Our company was contacted for the repair of the Fridge Frigidaire where water dispenser was not working and ice maker was not producing ice. If the water dispenser of a Frigidaire fridge is not working, it could be due to several factors such as a clogged water filter, a malfunctioning valve or switch, or frozen water lines. Similarly, a faulty water inlet valve, blocked water supply line, or faulty ice maker control module could prevent the ice maker from producing ice. Checking for and addressing these issues using appropriate troubleshooting measures or consulting a professional may be necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the fridge. Technician checked all working components and found that the water valve already required replacement due to natural wear and tear. After replacement water dispenser and ice maker are working properly.

Our technician repaired Freezer Frigidaire where customer called that food in freezer is freezing over too much. When a Frigidaire freezer is freezing over excessively, it could be due to various reasons such as a clogged defrost drain, broken defrost timer, or a faulty thermostat. A clogged defrost drain can cause water to build up and freeze, leading to excessive ice formation. A broken defrost timer may cause the freezer to go through the defrost cycle too quickly, causing ice buildup. A faulty thermostat can cause the freezer to get too cold, also contributing to ice formation. Technician found during diagnostics that the problem was with old gasket. Fridge was getting warm air inside and condensate was freezing over. Simple replacement of the gasket resolved the issue.

Our customer called to repair the Fridge Frigidaire with broken water supply mechanism. Technician did the diagnostics and found that the whole water dispenser assembly needs to be replaced as an easy fix was not possible in this case. Our technician replaced water dispenser assembly and customer is happy with resolved problem in a timely manner.

Today technician repaired side-by-side Fridge Frigidaire that had a common problem with the breakage of air damper control. As a result, the fridge is either not cooling or freezing over fresh food section. The Frigidaire fridge air control damper may not be working due to a faulty damper motor or control board. The damper motor is responsible for controlling the amount of cold air that enters the fridge, and if it malfunctions, the damper may not open or close correctly. Another possible reason behind the Frigidaire fridge air control damper not working could be a build-up of ice or debris within the damper assembly, which obstructs the flow of cold air. This can also cause the damper to get stuck in one position, leading to cooling issues within the fridge. In this case, Fridge was not cooling as damper was shut down and stopped working. We replaced the air damper control and the issue was resolved successfully.
