Many reasons could lead to bad refrigeration, but this time the cause of the issue was simple and could be determined without complicated calculations. The drain line was clogged and water couldn’t flow out of the compartment. The liquid stayed on the bottom of the Freezer Section and caused the buildup of ice. Additionally, this ice prevented the door from tightly closing. As a result, the compressor worked hard, but the refrigeration remained bad. Our technician quickly cleared the drain line and returned the home ice machine to proper running conditions.
