Today our team had an unusual job. In this case, we repaired a gas range. A customer contacted us and said that their BlueStar Gas Range was broken. The bake part of the oven stopped heating. We took the order and sent the experienced repair man the same day. Upon arrival, he performed a quick diagnostic. Many reasons could cause the issue. Among them could be a faulty heating element, a blown thermal fuse, or a broken oven igniter. In rare cases, bad wiring also could be the reason for the problem. A thorough search showed that a broken igniter which sets fire to the baking part of the oven was the cause of the problem. Calling a professional to diagnose and repair the appliance is always best. The same day the faulty device was replaced. Now the stove works as well as before.
